Children Healers is a non-profit organization committed to advocating for underprivileged children in need of emotional support. Rather than providing therapy directly, we connect vulnerable children with qualified mental health professionals through our global referral network. Guided by the belief that every child deserves access to healing, we raise awareness and funds to support therapy initiatives that help children reclaim hope and resilience.

Who We Are, Why We Started

At Children Healers, we believe every child carries a spark of resilience and wonder. Our journey began with a simple but profound realization: healing isn’t just about recovery—it’s about nurturing the whole child, emotionally, energetically, and spiritually.

Founded by passionate caregivers and holistic practitioners, our mission is to create a safe space where children can express, grow, and reconnect with their inner strength.

Whether they’re navigating stress, trauma, or simply the ups and downs of growing up, we offer tools that gently guide them toward balance and clarity.

We started Children Healers because we saw a gap. In a world that often prioritizes productivity over emotional wellness, children’s needs are frequently overlooked. We stepped in—not just as healers, but as advocates for mindful childhood development. Every practice we offer is rooted in empathy, ancient wisdom, and the belief that healing starts with trust.

Nour Belokda

Founder, Chief Executive Officer, and Chair of the Board

Children Healers

Nour Belokda is the Founder and CEO of Children Healers, a global nonprofit dedicated to advocating for and supporting children affected by trauma. With a background in political science and international law, she brings interdisciplinary expertise to the organization’s humanitarian mission.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a Minor in International Relations and Comparative Politics from the University of Central Florida, and a MicroMaster’s in International Law from Louvain University. Her legal training includes advanced coursework in asylum law, international humanitarian law, and human rights.

A Harvard-certified professional in Humanitarian Response to Conflict and Disaster, Ms. Belokda is also a licensed pilot and multilingual in Arabic, French, and English—with additional fluency in Spanish and Swedish. In addition to her leadership at Children Healers, she serves as D.C. Campaigns Advisor to the Fair Start Movement.

Carter Dillard

Policy Director and Board Member

Children Healers

Carter Dillard is a senior legal advisor, author, and human rights advocate. At Children Healers, he serves as Policy Director and a member of the Board, guiding policy alignment and legal strategy.

He began his career with the U.S. Department of Justice as an Honors Program appointee and later served as legal counsel to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. He is the author of Justice as a Fair Start in Life, and his academic work has been published by Yale, Duke, and Northwestern law journals. He has also served on the Steering Committee of the Population Ethics and Policy Research Project and was a Visiting Scholar at the Uehiro Centre for Practical Ethics at the University of Oxford.

Mr. Dillard also serves as Policy Director at the Fair Start Movement, where he leads global efforts to advance fairness and child-centered justice.

Adil Belokda

Vice President and Board Member

Children Healers

Adil Belokda is a veteran engineer and humanitarian strategist with over 20 years of international experience across logistics, security production, and crisis response. A graduate of the Université du Québec à Trois-Rivières, he has held senior roles managing precision systems and high-stakes manufacturing environments in Scandinavia.

Fluent in Arabic, French, English, and Swedish, Mr. Belokda has also spearheaded humanitarian initiatives across Africa, focusing on access to education, infrastructure, and children’s welfare. At Children Healers, he helps shape global operations and regional outreach.

Christopher Jallah

Secretary and Programs Director

Children Healers

Christopher Jallah brings more than 15 years of experience in strategic business development, operations, and humanitarian engagement. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and has led major development projects across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

Mr. Jallah has overseen multimillion-dollar client portfolios, managed large-scale training programs, and served in executive roles within international travel and services sectors. His leadership at Children Healers bridges technical precision with programmatic depth, ensuring quality implementation across initiatives.
